marking clip as used

If you have a large project with many clips, it can get confusing as to whether a clip in the bin has been used on the timeline. OK, the timeline can show the clip label as been used, but not the clips in the bin(s) has been used (can end up using a clip twice if you don't keep your wits about you).

I know that Pinnacle puts a tick in the album to indicate usage.

Anyone got thoughts?

Mel.

Mel,

I agree that a tick mark would be nice. However if you change the view to "Detailed" within the "Media Pool" there is a column named "Use Count".

Ok, thanks Dan - just shows how much there is to learn about vegas - never seen the detailed view before. Tend to jump straight in.
