all this started after some dumb windows 10 upgrade....its the graphic card? I have 2.

That's Windows crashing...
its not. Im compiling in another laptop. it works fine. I dont want to format pc and start again. Just need some kind of tweak,

This is the solution in that link that 'should' repair windows without messing with apps n settings. -

thx gid. but I dont want to risk to win10 to fail.....so I can still compile the videos in a very old laptop.
while I can do that im fine....too many WIN10 upgrades made this thing very unstable...
@Memo333 I understand, a Little while ago Windows updates completely screwed up my machine, search & quite a few other things in windows folders didn't work, inc all windows apps, calendar email etc., I ended up formatting the hardrive, reinstalling windows & then having to reinstall the programs/apps i wanted, It repaired everything & cleared out the junk i didn't use. but it was 36-48hrs of installing & rebooting 😒🥱 Luckily i only keep Windows & programs on that drive, all other 'stuff' is on another drive/s
