I have vegas pro 19 and want to go back to 17 so that I can use proxies to edit 4k 60fps footage. please let me know how to do this. Thanks!
Also VP19 can generate and use proxies.
Reinstall 17 then- both can coexist on one computer.
If the issue is that Vegas no longer automatically generates proxies for 4K footage in 19 you can actually change that back. Go into internal preferences (hold shift, go to tools and internal is at the bottom), and then type "proxy" into search and change "Minimum X resolution for autocreating video proxy" to a value lower than what your footage is.
