Since updating my PC (GTX650ti Graphics card and 16GB memory) with the latest NVidea driver I even cannot render a simple HDV project in VMS16 without a crash after a few seconds. On the same PC, the same footage, fx etc renders twice as fast without a crash with Powerdirector 16. I really get mad of this, I'm spending more time in testing VMS16 than producing with it. My never ending love for Vegas turns slowly into hate….

Why?

AFAIK Vegas 16 does nothing with that GPU, for sure not for rendering.
Therefore you need at least a GTX 9XX card following this

It showed that the latest driver was also applicable for 600 series. I get this message only when I render to an MAVC changed rendertemplate (1080p25 into 1080i50) which worked fine before. Disabling GPU support eliminates the error but doubles also the rendering time.

I'll try later on with an ancient HDV project rendering to Magix AVC 1080i rendertemplate on desktop with all old projects ( which rendertemplate exact, because my only possibilties are 1080i UFF 25 fps and not 50i). These 3: MC, NVENC and QSV are my customizable possibilities

I just changed NVENC 1080p25 rendertemplate into 1080i50 and have used that template several times without issues till updating my NVidea driver.

I rendered on desktop with GTX 1050ti as I wrote before.
Results no problem.
Render to Magix MC FHD 1080 25i UFF and the same for Magix QSV and Magix NVENC. Rendertimes and filesize for a 1,33 minutes during cuttet project
MC 3 min.34 sec 145 MB
QSV 2 min.12 sec 141 MB
NVENC 0 min. 57 sec 141 MB
