Nested Timelines, Open seperate .veg crashes VP

Just out of coriousity, who has the same behavior?

I mean what is it good for if this option is built in but if you want to work on a seperate timeline (.veg) if you open it directly from windows explorer it crashes Vegas Pro... I have to open Vegas clean, and load it from there, so that i can work on it. I have really no understand of such nonsense.

On my next project i will have to go my old way. Meaning load all files into one timeline, save it. copy the veg multiple times and remove the parts i dont need in the projects. For such a big selling point on a new version it surely works like crap so far.

I like to use nested timelines, but in the old way. There are already good opportunities for creating the nested projects. The new implementation could bring improvements, as no new Vegas instance needs to be opened to jump into and work in or make a small change to a nested project. But at the moment this feature is not mature yet.
