If you, like me, detest the Vista "supersmart" detection of file types and thereby customizing the folder options, here is a super tip:

I dug up this after finally being fed up with my sound and video clips getting "Artist", "Album", "Genre" and who knows what, whenever I opened a folder in Windows Explorer. All I want and need is the Filename, Size, Type and Date changed. That's it - for all folders.
