Hi Spot, got your 2nd DVD, it's great re vegas 5 from the vasst site.
Quick question, I'm also going to produce a series of software how-to DVDs (not for Sony s/w), I have legal clearances (finally) from the publishers, wondering if there's any lessons learned you'd share with me, as I get started creating mine for commercial release?
eg "If you had it all to do over again, you'd ... "? types of things ... curious if you have any quick tips you could share.....
Your 4-dvd set came out perfectly, eg good work w/application screencaps (direct videohead out one laptop to capture in vegas live on another pc..or?)... I was thinking maybe using camtasia to capture software screencaps in uncompressed avi output, then drop into vegas for editing?
your lighting was great too, and the backdrops etc... excellent work .. appreciate any pointers... I'm going to spend the next 4-5 months working on software training dvds... I'd like to create some as high-quality as you've produced... or at least aspire to it.... top quality in your DVDs...
