Vegas on Mac with Codeweaver's Crossover..anyone?

I Just saw this and wanted to know if any of you guys tested it.

It seems that you could install windows software on OSX.

I checked there and noticed that Vegas from version 5.0 through 7.0 have not been tested yet.

I am planning to test it but I'm afraid of the results since Vegas demands DirectX and Service pack.

But if you know anyone who had tested it, i'd appreciate any info.

I just posted the same question today.

I need a new edit system and I am really leaning towards getting a new MAC system (as I use it for my graphic design day job).

I could run Parrallels or Bootcamp, but would rather not have the Windows OS on the system at all.

Did you test it out?

as far as I now crossover is based on wine. .Net framwork doesn't run under wine, so I don't think that you will have any success.
