why do they exist when auto sensing seems to work.... can it save power during standby? I'm mono blocking 2 class abs so I'd want what works best.
is there any disadvantages to connecting a trigger cable? could it possibly add cross talk.
First time mono blocking and came across this feature and wanted to know why both exist.

12V triggering is also used on many home cinema projectors to auto open curtains or the like.
It's hard to find any connection between 12V triggering and Vegas Pro or any other NLE for that matter.
