If the AVCHD is 1920x1080-60i or 1440x1080-60i, then render using the Mainconcept MPEG-2 DVD Architect NTSC Widescreen (720x480-60i) template elementery stream. Render audio to separate PCM (48kHz, 16 or 24 bit) or AC3 stream.

Set the quality slider to BEST.

Also set the deinterlace method in project properties to "interpolate" or "blend" so that Vegas will resize each field at a time rather than a complete frame at a time.

Since it's only 35 min., use a custom CBR setting of 8,000,000 and PCM audio for the best picture and sound quality.

In DVDA I seem to be doing something wrong, when it burns the DVD it is in 4:3 I even if I set 16;9 in the prop. settings what am I missing.

Dumb question but you did render using the DVD Architect NTSC Widescreen template, correct?

Yes I used that template forgot to mention that. I also did the audio as AC3 the first time but in DVDA I had no sound so I rendered it again and included sound.

This was all done in Pro 11 683

If the audio and video files have the same stem name and are in the same folder, then loading say the video should also load the audio. If not, then you should be able to load them separately.

You shouldn't include audio with the video in the same file if you can help it because under certain circumstances unexpected things have been known to happen.

When you opened DVDA, in the 'New Project' window, did you select the proper format in the 'Project Video Format' drop down menu? There are 12 different selections, 4:3 being the first.

If it does, the problem is in a DVDA setting. If it says 4:3 then the problem is in a Vegas setting.

AH Thanks John I could not remember what the name of mediainfo was that will help as well and I will check the DVDA settings on new project
