Bezier Masking does not appear

Matias-Martinez wrote on 6/8/2025, 11:39 PM

That's exactly it. I've been seeing video tutorials that show the "Bezier Masking" effect should be the default in VEGAS, but for some reason it doesn't appear in the video effects.
Does anyone know why this happens?

It is alphabetically Masking de Bezier or something like that in your language?

In any case, in Spanish it would be "Máscara de Bezier" but it doesn't appear either, it's strange, I'll keep looking

Oh, I found it, it appears as "Enmascaramiento Bezier".

should I delete this post?

No, please keep it as someone else may have the same problem.

@Matias-Martinez I'm English, I know a little German & French but my Spanish is rubbish.. (my English isn't much better 😂🤦‍♂️)

'Enmascaramiento' is 'to mask', this is a verb.

'Máscara de' is 'Mask of' , this is a noun.

Therefore you're right it should be called 'Máscara de' as this is the name of the fx not the description of what it does.

Does that sound right.. ?

Spanish has many ways of saying the same thing, it could be "Máscara Bezier", "Enmascaramiento Bezier", "Enmascarado Bezier", "Máscara de Bezier"...they all make sense

Sounds like that can lead to a bit of confusion when searching for features lol.
