I am trying to render the second of 3 renders in making a 40 minute video. I understand you can't do more than 4G worth at a time without using NT or whatever, so that's why I'm rendering in 3 10-12 minute chunks. When I go to render the second VF file, it won't let me choose a codec. My only selection is "uncompressed". I tried rendering only a minute long looped section of one take and it did the same thing--no codecs available. I then opened a new VF project file and took only that take I just tried to render one minute from. Now, using it by itself, the codec options open up as normal.

I have uninstalled and reinstalled VF and the codec I want to use, but I cannot get it to work.

How can I fix this?
