Depends on your hardware in combination with programversion and thus possible rendertemplates. That kind of stuff renders with me in 0,8-0,9 x realtime.
Do I need to provide more specs than above and I'm using VP16 with the latest updates? I'm rendering to MP4 @ 1080p @ 60fps. My 10 minute file is taking 20 minutes... so I guess that's 2X realtime?
@Chris-Harwood can you post screenshots of your Project Settings, render format template, and the specs of your source media using the free app Mefiainfo in text mode? That will get us started.
For rendering to mp4 there are more than one codec, the fastes for AVC and HEVC are the Magix AVC and HEVC codecs with GPU help if your GPU(s?) meets the specs for VPRO 16
In my experience, nesting increases render times significantly, so I prerender nested segments as a Magic lossless AVI. Otherwise, lots of factors affect rendering time, motion, fades, x-fades and other transitions, ect. In general, my MP4 files render at about half of real time or so with the Magix or MainConcept AVC codecs. VP-16, Win 10, 32 GB RAM. I also usually render the audio separately and mux it in.
