Wow! I never would have figured that out. Thanks very much. I'm printing out the solution to put in my Vegas folder so I won't forget.

@Roger Bansemer I have the Edit Details window docked on my screen & had a quick look for you but couldn't see Regions, 🤷‍♂️ but I always forget to look in the drop down at the top 🤦‍♂️, so thanks @jetdv

Another cool feature not readily evident is that when you copy regions or markers from Vegas Details, it also pastes quite nicely into an Excel spreadsheet with all the data parsed into columns. I do that to remove all but the Region Name and Start Time columns and then to re-paste from Excel into a YouTube description field as a table of contents. YouTube then creates jump-links into the video using the Start Times and also uses the Region Names as chapter labels on it's timeline.

I do similar but just use notepad. Gets me the timecode and descriptions I need! But I use Markers so there's only the timecode and description initially.

I'm in need of copying markers from one program to instance of the program. I've followed those instructions in the past but now I'm having trouble again. I can highlight the markers in the "edit details" window and have selected "regions" and I highlight the markers and copy but I can't seem to paste them into the other program. That's where I'm stuck. Hope you can help. Thanks

Roger

@Roger Bansemer Are you showing Regions in Edit Details in the destination program before pasting, or did you forget to do that and leave it on Selected Events instead?

Thanks Robert. That's what I was doing wrong, not opening the table in the destination program. I was just thinking I could paste it straight on. Thanks again.
