Digital Audio with Movie Studio

I have a question about Screenblast MovieStudio.
I love the software and the easy user interface. I am able to do
everything I want except for one thing. I am not able to capture the audio
from a DV camcorder. I have no problems using my analog video camera
or VCR for video/audio capture, but when I connect my JVC DV video
camera (model #-GR-D91U) I am OK with the video capture, but the audio
portion does not build any peaks. Does Screenblast support DV audio?

Am I asking these questions to the right people?

Please help me if I am or am not in the right support area.

Thanks,

Tom.

If you're using VidCap to capture the video there's an option under preferences/capture to diasable audio capture. Doesn't seem likely if you're getting the audio ok from an analog capture, but worth checking. Come to think of it, I wouldn't expect to see an audio part of the clip, so I'm really grasping at straws.

Do you hear anything when you preview the tape in the camera?
