DV CODECS

How do I select DV Type 1 Encoder, it seems as tho all of VF2 .avi output files are in DV Type 2 ?
I am sending to MF2 & it appears to only accept DV Type 1 DV encoded files.
Also, please see my previous post about DV codec distortions.
What is the difference between Type 1 & Type 2 ?

I wish I could tell you the difference between type 1 and type 2 -- or, better, WHY there is a difference, but I'll leave that to the more tech savvy.

But I CAN tell you what to do about it.

Download a free program called Virtual Dub. When you do a Save as, it saves your file as the more universal type 1.
