DVD R/RW hardware question

Anyone with an opinion?

I am about to buy into the DVD "shabangy" and am curious which DVD burner is most compatible with SoFo VV4/DVDA.

BUY OPTION:
HP 200i at Office Max is $199 (rebates)
or
Plextor 504A ($299)
Or other...

SYSTEM:
WinXP (home)
733 Intel/256 mb 133 mem
80 gig (aux)

I use the Pioneer 104, and 103 burning to DVD-r and DVD-rw without a problem. Can't speak for the others.
