When using the Pan/Crop FX to do a zoom on a still images. I get flashing affects mostly on vertical and horizontal features in the image. I have tried add the Gaussian Blur but it would blur the picture too much to reduce it. I have reduce the resolution of the picutures from the default from my 4 meg digital camera.

Any ideas. I was told that Vegas solves this problem. I am not ready to shell out that much money yet.
