Using sony batch converter (5.0b), when batching mp3's, how can one force the sample rate of 8khz 32kbps, mono .mp3?
Any way around this?

The only option is 11,025khz, 32kbps, mono and I need 8000khz 32kbps, mono.

Are there any other batch converters out there that can output this if no joy?
Freeware?
Please let me know.

thnx

Just curious, buy why do you need this? Are you under the impression that the file will be smaller? It won't be. It will be exactly the same size as the 11,025Hz file, and it would have less frequency range. 32Kbps mono can probably handle a 22,050Hz file. I can't understand why you would want a lower sampling rate.

I'm asking about this to support a clients need, not mine.
It's no about filesize, audio quality, etc.

Can I force these settings in sony BCvtr? or is there another app that will fit this req (looking at dbpoweramp but want to look into other apps)?

thnx
