How to burn the Blu-ray

I'm doing 3D editing using Vegas Pro 10,
the system settings are as below:

stereoscopic mode: side by side (full)
1920*1080, i50
5.1 surround wave

when I were to export, I chose to follow the steps as below:

i) Tools-- Burn-- Burn to Blur-ray

ii) Here only one sellectiong could be available " rendering a image"
However, I can not fine ' Blu-ray 1920*1080 i50' or ' 1920*1080, 25p' but there was a sellection of "1920*1080, 24p", other two sellection were 720p 23.98fps and 720p 30p. So I have to choose 1080 24p

iii)after clicking "OK", vegas began to rendering.

iv) when rendering was finished, according to somebody posted in a disscussion website, I went to 'file'---'project properties', then I turn off the "side by side (full)'' and switch it to 'off", so that the 'burn existing image' could be available' in 'Tools--burn---burn to blu-ray disc'

v) After that, I could be able to burn blu-ray disk from Vegas.

By this, as the workflow which I studied, I want to know, is this workflow right? Or anyother guys give me some good ideas insteaad?

Great thanks for your kindly help.

Hello Haosen:

Is there a reason you do not want to create and render your files in Vegas Pro and then author (burn) the Blu-ray disk in DVD-A Pro? I use DVD-A to burn all of my DVDs plus the occassional BD-format disk. That way you can create menus, etc. for your disk.

I am asking because DVD-A is pretty easy to use once you get started. I have never burned a disk directly from Vegas although I believe that the software is capable of doing this.

Regards,

Kimberly

Dear Kimberly

The DVD-A works well when I burn a half size 3D movie but was not available when I want to export a full size side by side blu-ray disc.

That' what I was confused.

Could you help me figure it out?

Great thanks!!
