Chris:
VeloCd works flawlessly with CD Architect 4.5g - though this is not
the forum for it.
Go under Options-Select Drive
Click on Advanced - then Select ATAPI MMC Compatible
Next part varies from system to system....
Under SCSI Host - select SCSI Device 0
Under SCSI CDR - select TDK CDRW8432
If you do not see your drive, go back and select another SCSI Device
(1, 2, 3, etc)
Repeat until you find your drive.
Note: From TDK, download the latest firmware upgrade (1.07)
And yes - you can burn at speeds of 8x with this drive.

hey thanx george. @ least i got a reply here. i for some reason can't
install the g update. my comp always says unable to locate the
previous instalation's directory. i've unistalled and reinstalled cd
arch twice, still no luck. any suggestions would be grand. thx
