It's easy. Here's a quote from an earlier post.

To extract a still from your video clip:

- Put the clip on the timeline and have it showing in the Preview window.
- Right-click on the frame you want in the Preview Window. A menu window will appear. Check "Display at project size." This will give you a sharper still.
- Click on the floppy disk icon at the top right of the Preview Window. In the window that appears, name your file, and choose whether to save as a .jpg or .png file and what directory you want to save it to. click Save, and your still will be saved in that directory. It will also appear in your media pool, for use in your video.

Take a look at this PDF file. It's for Vegas, but a lot of it applies to VF, too.
