importing premiere project

While importing a premiere project the software adds all clips to the project media en also to the time line. But only the first clip there is the sound added. The resulting clips have no sound part! When i add one of these clips by hand then the sound is included. I tried this with different projects and on the desktop and also on a laptop. But every time the same problem. Does anyone have experience with importing a premiere project.

You can always right-click the video events and choose "Add missing stream for selected event" and that will add the audio back. Or you can use a script that could work with multiple selected events to add the missing streams. I've never tried importing from Premiere so that could just be an issue with the import routine.

thx, 👍this work-a-round seems to work! I will test it with other projects, iám sure it will help me a lot. Let see if the technical people from Magix can solve this error.😬

I tested now a bigger première project which contains more than 1000 clios and 12 sequences. After all the clios were added to the vegas project nothing was added to the timeline! I wonder if Vegas van deal with more sequences. Should each sequens be converted to a nested timeline?

I reported this issue also to the support department of Magix/Vegas. We exchanged several emails in the last the advised me to import via an EDL. That didn't also not work!!!! Now tehy have closed the ticket without any solution for me. Is tehre someone who did import premiere projects.?
