MPEG2

If I burn a MPEG2 on cd as PAL SVCD multimedia, what will it play on?
XP media player reckons it cant find a codec, and the DVDs I have tried dont seem to recognise it. It loads and runs fine in VV.

The short answer is that you need a Mpeg2 Codec installed on the system that is to play the Mpeg2 file. Usually you get this codec by installing DVD players like WinDVD or PowerDVD. Windows does not come with the codec installed because there is a licensing issue. Like Don said, visit vdchelp.com for more info.
