This piece of Expert Advice may be a bit old, but the "Vegas color scheme" option is still there.

Thanks. That is much better and easier to read. I saw that option but thought it just applied to the three colors shown above it.

I've used WindowBlinds in the past to give Vegas' GUI a whole new look. I don't use Vegas much anymore but keep it installed/updated... just in case.

I know there are others that don't feel the way I do but, I'll be glad when Vegas stops looking like Windows '98.

Yeah, there was a forum freakout when they tried to introduce a bit more color to the interface. I'd love it if the empty track space had an option to be a lighter shade of the track display color.

The Vegas interface is kind of starkly dull but I can certainly imagine it being way too busy too.
