Yeah, you can, but it's not as easy as that AE plugin and, in all honestly, it's an overdone effect. It's the text equivalent of putting lens flares in every scene because "it's so darn awesome!"

In the context of language and words presented in the video, it works to a point, but ultimately becomes visually tedious.

One application does NOT do it all!

Most of us that edit have multiple applications because of this. If you need the efftect and PTT can't do it... you need to find/purchase the app/plugin/effect/tutorial that does.

Well, you could do the entire thing (animations, sound editing, camera movements, etc) in Blender.

Yes Grazie but a combination of PTT with track motion.
Specially foru.

If you are using PTT in Sony Vegas you must use track layers for text block motion = rotates etc
As you bring in the first lines = track layers of text with PTT and subsequent text tracks create a parent controller
That is a parent track for that group of text tracks. As you bring in more text tracks of PTT text you create a new parent track to contain the first parent controller and all the new PTT text tracks as you build up more PTT text tracks you create a new parent controller track that contains all the previous controller tracks and so forth.
The reason for this is that the parent controller controls all the other tracks as one fused unit.

Very slick. Thanks for the tutorial.
