However, Korean typing error problems occur in all kinds of Text medias in Vegas Pro(all versions).

I have been used Vegas Pro for a long time over 15 years with this problems... ( I am not a new user)

I use all kinds of Vegas text medias such as (Legacy Text), (ProType Titlers), (Titles & Text). so on...

No differnce beteen them..  All makes Korean letter typing errors..

I hope Magix solves this Koean letter typing problems soon so that Korean users use Vegas in good

conditions..

 I love to use motion tracking with 5 scripts of "Copy Motion Track to PIP MaskX" Beta version...

I completed to learn how to use Motion Tracking with "Copy Motion Track to PIP MaskX".

However, today I found a some kind of bug with  this motion track with  "Copy Motion Track to PIP MaskX.

After saving my project file of motion tracking, I reopend the Project file and I found that some key points of Motion tracking has little changed comparing with the project file before saving..

I think It's a kind of bug..

I am a Korean user. I have used Vegas Pro for a long time.

Whenever I type Korean characters on vegas text media, Vegas text media shows Korean characters wrongly.

If I type (Are you going to school?) on text media in Koren, Vegas text media always disjoint korean letters as follows.

 * Wrong : (ㅇㅏㄴㄴㅕㅇ하세ㅇㅛ?)  <-- disjointed korean letters

 * Correct : (안녕하세요?)  <-- This correct Korean characters are copied from a note pad written in Korean characters.

What version of VEGAS Pro are you using. We did make some fixes to remedy these problems.

I have been using Vegas Pro for a long time, almost 14 years..

I have gotton this Korean typing problem from the very very old versions.

Now I am using Vegas Pro 16 (build 261). 

All text media in Vegas Pro 16 has also a same problem with Korean alphabet typing..

It's good to show Korean typing problem in Vedeo..

I think, Magix Vegas team does not recognize well this problem because only a few korean people report

this problem to Magix.

One reason is that Korean people are not familiar with English writting..

Interesting. We made fixes for this problem in VEGAS 15 for our Korean release in May. In our tests, VEGAS 15 and VEGAS 16 support the Korean characters properly and, in fact, were a requirement from our Korean distributor. Potential issue may be font related, but my testing on both VEGAS 15 and 16 does not currently demonstrate the problem. We perhaps are missing a workflow for this right now, so we will probably need more information.

We have been looking over this and we are indeed seeing a problem with inconsistent typing within the edit boxes for both Titles & Text and the Legacy Text generators. The ProType Titler appears to be working as expected. We will attempt to fix this problem.

@VEGASDerek If possible, please also attempt to fix the long-standing issues with Polish text, as marcinzm demonstrated in this comment.

I certainly confirm the followings after I carefully test Korean typing problems in Veas Text medias...

1) Protype Titler has no problem  <-- Korean letters are not broken..  O.K.

2) (Legacy) Text <-- Letters are Broken.. Problem.

3) Titles & Text   <-- Letters are Broken.. Problem.

The issue with the Polish text is considerably more complex at this point. The Korean problem is a know problem with the Microsoft RichTextBox control, which is part of the Win32 API. We can likely fix this for the Titles & Text generator. It is unlikely we will crack the code open to fix the Legacy Text generator, which is obsoleted code (though many people still use it, which is a fault of the Titles & Text generator, which we are investigating dealing with).

The Polish text issue will require a lot of plumbing rework within the entire application that will divert a number of engineering resources away from other important issues. This issue is elevated on our list, but a fix for it is not imminent.

The release notes for VEGAS Pro 17 Update 2 (build 353) state:

"Fixed text input errors using Korean characters in the Titles and Text media generator"

I assume the issue still remains for the (Legacy) Text generator and Protype Titler. Feedback from Korean VP17 users would be welcome.

I received an e-mail from Nick that Korean Typing Error is finally fixed in (Titles & Text media generator) of Vegas Pro 17 build 353.

I tested it and confirm that Korean Typing problem is now all fixed using Both (Titles & Text) and (Pro type Titler).

I like to express big thanks to Nick & all Vegas Teams.
