I am mixing audio for a TV broacast program. The problem is
that i can't get vegas to play the video by our dedicated
card outputs. We use several matrox video cards (digisuite
LE, digisuite DTV, matrox marvel G400) to capture and play
video. The cards have hardware video
compression/decompression so if i get them work the video
would not burden vegas. Now i must decompress the 6 MB/s DV
videos by software codecs which leaves not much of
horsepower for realtime audio. Plus i have to watch the
tiny little screen instead of a TV. Is there any way to
route the video any to those cards ?

No, we don't support this. Our video rendering is entirely in
software for our output preview. Basically, Vegas's does not talk to
Video output devices other than the screen.

Future versions may address this.
