Prerendering Problem

I'm trying to prerender part of my video in Vegas Movie Studio 17 Platinum, but whenever I press Shift and B, the video doesn't prerender. Instead, the loop region shrinks. Is there a way to fix this?

The computer I am using is the MSI GE75 Raider gaming laptop. It has 16 GB of RAM, a 10th generation Intel Core i7-10750H processor, and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070 graphics card. The version of Windows 10 installed is Version 21H1 (OS Build 19043.1110). The version of Vegas Movie Studio 17 Platinum installed is 17.0 (Build 223).

Pre rendering is Shift+M. Shift +B is RAM preview, which is depending on how much RAM is assigned for this function. The default assigned 200 MB is not enough to make a decent RAM preview, that results in shrinking the loop region. To have a decent RAM preview, also depending on the preview resolution, you have to assign at least 5-6 GB. I personally prefer pre rendering, Shift+M.

@StealthStarSwag Which option do you use now, RAM preview Shift+B or pre-render Shift+M?

@3POINT I prerender (Shift+M). 🙂
