Hello, I am having problems getting a proper print to tape time ratio. My film is around 4 minutes long but when I record it to tape it takes over five minutes.
Any idea how to get the proper time sequence? I am running Capture 2.0
A little clarification, if you please ... What takes 5 minutes? Are you saying the process takes 5 minutes? Or have you actually watched your video on tape and it lasts for 5 minutes when you play it?
I've play and edited my film in VF 1.0 and have gotten my film at 4m 11secs. This plays out just fine and when I converted it to an microsoft avi. file., to transfer to NTSC
When I preview it on VidCap 2.0 my film, with sound, all becomes slow moving making the film last over 5 minutes. When I transfer to DV cam I get the same affect with blue screen images showing up this creates not a proper transfer. Have any noteworthies to get it properly configured to time frame and speed?
I am moving over to Sonic Foundry, hopefully. I purchased it a couple of years ago and now have decided to use it.
I got too frustrated with adobe premiere 6.0 and its perks to transfers.
rendered as a >> microsoft avi. file.>> transfer to NTSC.
when watching it in VF all runs fine, when I preview it in video capture is runs slow. Like when you a watch a film at a theater and it gets stuck but still moves but the sound and picture are slow.
my computer is defragged. gotta 633 processor, 30 gig hard drive. about 160 ram.
using an internal sound card if that makes any difference.
If the rendered file lenghtis more than that of the actual file, just look at the audion section of your project. Does the audio portion (Music or FX or just the simple I/O) extend beyond the video portion of your project. I can think of this secnarion which may be causing your final output to be longer than yoru original input. Other thing might be due to added titles, etc.
