They are there if installed in your fonts folder on the PC.

Select text edit mode highlight the text in the block you want to change click on drop down arrow font family, select type or font face or select font weight

Just checked. I see the same problem as the OP.

In Protype only Arial, Arial Rounded MT and Arial Unicode MS show in the Font Family drop down list.

Using either Titles & Text or the Legacy Text, all the Arial variations are available. There is problem there and it has nothing to do with what is installed.

Using VP11 build 683 (64bit). The 32 bit version shows the same.

Willem.

Thanks for responses so far, appreciated.

Apparently Protype let us only choose from main family names. Why I can't find or create narrow type fonts for example anyway is kinda weird.

My main project is to add a solid background around text, that can be auto-adjusted according how my text takes out, but I'm not aware of any other ways to do this.

Apologies I don’t have a large variety fonts installed but what I have is available.

mfdk I am not getting what you are trying to accomplish with the solid back auto adjusted.

@Rory
I want to add a square color behind my text that just fill it out and only that. I have plenty of tasks like this in my videos and would love to have something do things fast for me and uniform.
I can do something similar looking with basic text and color generators, but that's very time consuming you see. Protype titler is so faster, but my problem now, it won't allow me the font I need.
