Render crashing while having a mask

I do have the problem while rendering in Vegas Pro 13

I did want to use blur in the video I was doing, with time I did saw that the preview of the video lags for a bit, later it did lag very strong, I didn't understand what's the problem. I tried rendering the video for 4 times, and all of this tries the render was crashing.

First time - 41%.

Second time - 70%.

Third time - 71%.

And the fourth time - 70%.

I tried to watch the video without the mask, and it didn't lag, and it rendered without any issues. Only I tried to render ONLY the mask, and it crashed. After, tried to render it together, and the render crashed again.

PC:

8GB RAM

Gigabyte GeForce GTX 550 Ti

AMD Ryzen 5 2400G 3.60 GHz

Windows 10 Home64bit

I do have GPU acceleration is turned off, render template was Full HD, but I did try many of them, none worked.

Thanks.

Have you tried turning off "GPU Acceleration of Video Processing?" That is different than GPU rendering, but it can sure cause the same problem.

I see you report 8 GB of RAM. A bit on the light side.

With the limits of your system, perhaps you could break it up to three segments - before mask, mask, after mask. render each, then put the rendered files on the time line and render again. Not optimum but I've found with most programs I use if I run into a problem and time is an issue a work around is often the solution. Not a fix but perhaps a solution.

Is what is in the mask another video clip or image? Can you render that other image or video without the mask? Does it crash then? Just trying to rule out if you might have a piece of media that is somehow corrupted and making VEGAS crash, rather than it being the mask. What are your project settings, and what media are you using during the mask effect?
