Starting Movie Studio with empty Timeline

3POINT wrote on 2/9/2019, 3:08 AM

Is there maybe a "hidden" feature in VMS, to start a new project without the predefined track setting (Text; PIP, Video, Audio and Music), just an empty timeline like in VPro?

Don't know of a hidden feature, but remember this?

I have asked the developers to make that option in the coming VMS 16 on 05-01-2019, untill now no reaction.

I looked everywhere if I could find that option, also in the hidden preferences and could find nothing.
My temp. solution is now at the beginning select the first track followed by Ctrl-A and Delete, but when I'm in the hurry forget it sometimes. Age????? 😇

Yes vkmast, I remember, but that's ofcourse a good workaround. I was hoping, like j-v, for a hidden option in the internal preferences, which I also couldn't find.

After saving the empty project you can move it to the desktop as a shortcut and start MS or VP directly from there. Just have to remember to save it off before adding to the project!

I think that are all unneeded steps for experienced users and therefor to stay using this software I need the switch function into an empty timeline projectstart.
