tascam dm-4800 with IF-FW/DM mk2 option card

reaper works great with tascam's asio driver for IF-FW/DM mk2 fire-wire option card. all 32 in and 32 out can be routed.

vegas6 has problem with it. if i open vegas first with tascam asio, blue screen apears and comp goes to restart. if i open reaper first, press play, press stop, close it and then start vegas, everything is ok. it looks like vegas can't start asio. very strange.
does anybody has a clue?

A blue screen is caused by the driver. Vegas cannot cause it.

Sounds like some incompatability, but I can't say what it is. We don't have this hardware, so I can't determine why.

I will get in touch with Tascam and see what I can arrange.

Have you contacted Tascam?
