I have Vegas 18 Pro and have been using Vegas for years but doing simple stuff. I'm working on a music video with two shots that I want to merge at a certain point. The main shot is of a person playing a bass guitar throughout the whole song with no cuts or edits. At a certain point in the song, the same bassist will play a harmonica solo, while maintaining his bass performance on the screen as well. When the solo is over, that shot should leave the screen. I don't know what this effect is called but I'm looking for a creative way to transition the solo performance in and out. Thanks, Parris
