An error occurred while recording. "The system is low on memory. You may be able to reduce memory usage by closing other applications".
So I thought that I had to get more RAM. So I installed 2 x 16GB RAM. - but still the same message?? The project is empty, I get the message before recording anything!! There is plenty of space on the HD too.
I have never had that problem before. I will be very pleased, if there is anyone who can give me a hint?

I checked the most of what you send me, and it seems to be ok in all the preferences in the program. So maybe it is somewhere else, I have to find the failor?
I have Vegas Pro 13 and Vegas Pro 18 to run on my laptop and both do the same, and comes out with the same error message. I am not a specialist, but it tells me that it is something on the machine and not the program??
The error message comes on both Pro 13 and Pro 18, when I start a new Audio project and will Arm for recording, using Microsoft Sound Mapper! So it is when work inline.
I run both programs on Win 11, 1th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-11800H @ 2.30GHz (2.30 GHz) - 32,0 GB - 277 GB free HD space
Can anyone tell me where I can try to find a reason to my problem, which is quite new for me. :-)
