@Mateusz-Przybylski

4K 60fps GoPro may never edit smoothly in Vegas, no matter what machine you have. It simply clogs up the works with its highly compressed and complex structure, which takes up dozens of Megabytes of your System Memory for storing the inflated buffers.

Fortunately, Vegas has always had a ready solution for these files. It is called a Video Proxy. Read about Video Proxies in you Vegas Help Menu, on this forum, and hundreds of resources on the internet. You will find no shortage of information.

Then, in Vegas, sit back and have a beer while Vegas creates your Video Proxy for you. Then, your editing will go much smoother, and your timeline handling will be less frustrating.

For learning purposes, there is a huge collection of tutorials, articles, reference materials, and discussions here:

@Mateusz-Przybylski Hi, I have a GoPro 11, I suggest to you to upgrade to VP22, since VP21 (300) there has been a massive difference in how VP plays GoPro HEVC clips, VP20 played them really bad but now I honestly can't tell the difference between AVC & HEVC,

PS, I have proxies turned Off.
