Vertical video is on the rise and with youtube's answer to Tiktok (Shorts) it looks like it's gonna be here to stay.
I made this video discussing why it's worth everyone's attention, most notably the devs.

Right now, the cap of being able to only render 2k vertically (as highlighted by @DatoAliffAlex in a separate thread) is a concern for me. While this is gonna sound shallow, the fact of the matter is, the algorithms are pixel hungry and its just a matter of preferred aesthetics.
Having said that, what we can do with the VEGAS ecosystem currently is quite amazing, especially using VEGAS Effects. I highly recommend youtubers in this forum to really invest time in Youtube shorts.
