Benchmark Test Results Sharing for Laptop on Vegas Pro
Ok. But not necessary the most used format for each usergroup I think but the format that could stress the program and hardware. Which I dont have any idea as of now. Maybe others can recommend. as of now, we can stick to xdcam and sony avc. Thanks for your input

I mean what do you think we can use to compare. I agree with you with the sony avc. The purpose of this threaf is to compare systems espcially on laptops given different configurations of gpu and cpu. I have read a lot of desktop benchmark but very little for laptops.

Cornico, I dont know really why it is not preferred but yeah you are right. We could drop the MC AVC test and put something else since no point really of having it as benchmark with lack of compatibility with newer gpus so what do you think we can use?

Thanks Nick! Loving the improvements even on laptop systems. Hope somebody using 1050/1060/1080 gtx mobile gpus share their results. It would greatly help people determine if newer gtx cards have real life effects. Excited to see also ryzen laptops soon and hopefully equipped with vega gpus

(FAQ) Graphics Cards & GPU-Acceleration for VEGAS Pro
hello guys! This has been very helpful. However, I am mostly working on a laptop and looking for gpu with equivalent power as the ones mentioned above.I have a hard time looking for laptops with amd gpus and would like to seek for advice if the r9 m275 for mobile would be good for fluid playback (considering no effects) and also how about the radeon rx460 that asus has.Thanks Jake
