Red Giant UNIVERSE update
I've got a subscription and awaiting a support ticket response (they aren't the fastest). It's just strange that the newest additions to UNIVERSE will not appear in VP. If I get an answer, I'll circle back.

Canon C70 MXF File Crashing Vegas Pro 18
@jeremyscottproductions I have a C70 and am currently editing a piece with those footage specs. I'm not having an issue, though I've encountered issues in the past. I'm not sure what changed tbh, after updating (to build 373) everything seems to be rolling smoothly right now.

Vegas to ProTools workflow
@rraud Thanks. I was looking at AATranslate last night. Definitely not cheap. I'll look into Happy Otter Scripts to see if they have something. It would be nice to have a solid export option for AAF built into VP.

Community Project: AAF import/export
Hey Derek, thanks for asking the questions. That's awesome to have direct feedback. AAF/OMF export is SUPER HELPFUL. Especially for team projects where the audio mixer works on Protools or other software. I see it's missing from VP18 and would love to see it return to VP. I'm currently searching for a workaround...

Canon C70 footage cause Instant Crash
Great. Thank you for testing guys! Hopefully we can get a fix for this file type. I imagine this camera will be pretty popular. FWIW, it works smooth on Premiere.

Vegas Pro 18 EXCEEDING my expectations (so far)...
I second that VP 18 is pretty stable and love the new additions. However, as you're saying the NESTED TIMELINE feature is still buggy within VP18. I tried this once and nearly lost my project. I'll wait until that's ironed out. Beyond Nested Timelines, I haven't seen any major hiccups. Knock on wood.

Exporting Markers from the Trimmer
"So there's no way to search these regions inside the "explorer" window of VP." Right, there is no search or export function for the Explorer's Region view. If you need this, maybe it would be a better workflow to use one separated main Vegas Pro project to manage your interviews on the timeline, set Markers/Regions there and maybe export and import via Vegasaur (or the harder way via copy & paste from/to the Edit Details window between two projects). Thanks for this thought. I'll experiment with this workflow. Hope we can one day have a pancake timeline set-up within VP 🙏

@Marco. the regions inside the trimmer window are great. Thanks for that suggestion, never knew! So there's no way to search these regions inside the "explorer" window of VP. Or export to a spreadsheet -- is that right?

One possible way could be to use Regions instead of Markers in the Trimmer. You then could view the listed Regions in the Vegas Pro Explorer window once you relaunched Vegas Pro and you can then use the Regions just like clips. I will try this with Regions once I’m back on my machine. Out of curiosity... why would using markers in the trimmer be preferable to markers in the timeline? Markers inside the trimmer are better for marking moments inside a long clip imo.The markers attach to the video, even if you were to open that video in a new Vegas project. The markers are always there. It’s a cool feature. But definitely wish they were exportable / searchable :)

VEGAS Pro 18 Update 1 (Build 334) - General Discussion
Great update VEGAS team. This one seemed to iron out many of my issues. But still have one issue with audio envelopes... If I turn off audio envelopes then turn them back on, my envelope adjustments are deleted. Anyone else notice this?

The NVIDIA update worked initially. I favorite'd (starred) and then restarted VEGAS to see if they held. They did not. So I tried to "star" them again and it started to do the same crash. Back to square one. I've got a support ticket open. I'll update if I come across an answer on my end.

Vegas Pro 17: first impressions ?
Loving VP 17 so far! I know there's a way but how do I enlarge the trimmer window waveforms in VP17? In VP16 there was a two sided arrow (up and down) that appeared between the trimmer video preview and waveform preview. I don't see that arrow now in VP17.

I had the same problem but I uninstalled the BCC plugins and it opened flawlessly.
