Where are you hearing this voice? Does your Vegas produce this?

My apologies I got the character wrong - it sounds like Droopy Dog not Elmer Fudd.

If you have speakers a voices alerts when a render completes with, "Rendering Completed".

Where can I enable that function in Vegas? Never knew that.
Did all the Vegas versions have similar voice alerts?

If I run short on meds, I hear Road Runner.

Kidding aside, I have to echo VMP: where do you find this option? Vegas never talks to me, but I sometimes yell at it.

I think it's a feature of Vegasaur rather than Vegas, as far as I know.

Vegasaur - 100%
you can change this sound if you want, or disable it.

NormanPCN schrieb am 27.06.2014 um 21:56 Uhr
I wish I could change the voice with another just for fun.

Go to Control Panel. Hardware and Sound, Change system sounds.

Scroll down that list looking for Vegas Pro 12/13, Render complete.
You can put any sound you want there. Any WAV file.

With the Vegasaur render manager you change the sound in its options.

Vegasaur! Thanks goodness it was this that was speaking to me and not some psychotic break. I bought Vegasaur quite awhile ago, didn't associate it with the announcement and just thought it was a feature introduced in VP a few versions ago. It isn't that useful because I'm usually out of the room when the rendering completes but when I'm there it's an amusing but unexpected reminder. Thanks for the info about how to change the sound.

I find it most useful when I AM out of the room!
