When I add a Magic Bullet Look to the video master track of a project that has nested project files, flickering occurs on the nested parts of the project in the rendered file. I've only tried rendering to Sony MFX so far. Is there a way to add FX to the whole project that doesn't cause this effect?
Thanks, for your help. All the clips are animations made up of PNG files at 1920x1080 at 24fps. I'll check again just to make certain but I'm pretty sure I've disabled re-sampling on each file. Maybe I also need to disable re-sampling on still images in the project as well? Don't think I did this. ATM I'm rendering with GPU disabled to see if this makes a difference.
Ok, rendering with GPU off didn't solve the problem so I've reopened all the nested files and switched of resample for still images as well as double checking resample is completely switched off across the board. I've switched off resample on the nested files as well which makes me ask why sin't there a way to completely switch of resampling in Vegas? Why does Vegas switch on resampling with every file I load when it can cause flickering problems with nested files?
I've also switched off GPU in MBL. I'll see how this render turns out.
In case this helps anyone having similar problems after I went through the main project and the nested projects and switched off resampling on all content including still images AND switched off GPU in MBL the project rendered without flickering. Phew!
I'd still like to find a way to automatically switch off resampling for all content when working with animation especially. What the hell does resampling do anyway and what is it good for? Absolutely nothing?
