Program crash after taking over more than 5 titles to the menu

Now there are problems with DVDA 7.0: maximum 5 files I can drag onto the menu, then program crash. What can this be?

The burning process takes longer than with old computer. Now I have a new Windows 10 tower with the fastest Intel processor. Need your tip asap. Thanks.

DVDA7 is a 32 bit programme so it's possibly no better on a newer pc! But anyway post the specs of your new machine.

  1. Do you get a window pop up with an option to send a crash report? If so can you post the details available in that.
  2. Is it always the same 6th file that causes a crash or any file?

To 1: No crash report

To 2: It is not the same 6th file. I changed the order.

@B-AX53 Next thing to look at - what are the files. Are they DVDA compliant or do they require recompression?

The only time I've had DVDA crash is when I've added a file to the project, then opened it so it appears in the Timeline window bottom right, then moved on to do something else without letting the waveform creation (building peaks) finish. Nowadays to avoid the possibility of a crash I always let the "building peaks" finish. Probably not related to your problem but worth mentioning.

The problem from 26.10.2023 still exists. Unfortunately, your tips have not helped. Today I downloaded the DVDA7 programme to my second computer and more than 5 files are running without crashing. Computer data: i5-4440 CPU@3.1GHz; 64-bit. It would be good if I could get some tips from you that I could try out.

Sorry, I'm out of ideas. If it runs okay on your second computer then it suggests that there's something about your main computer that DVDA doesn't like. Remember it's an old 32 bit application.
