Text to speech request Dutch (Belgium) aka "Flemish"

Vegas 365 supports text to speech Dutch, but it is the Dutch variant of The Netherlands, not the Belgian Dutch (= Flemish).

As far as I know Vegas uses Microsoft's Azure, and Azure supports Dutch (Belgium) voice. So, why is this not supported in Vegas?

I do not have anything against Dutchmen, but I would like to hear Dutch speech in my native tongue. Just imagine all US users are forced to select Australian English as text to speech! I know the rest of the world think we speak French in Belgium, but the fact is native speak is roughly divided between 60% Dutch and 40% French.

If that were the case, there'd be a lot of subtitling going on. Australians don't really have a problem with US or English accents because US and English TV programs have been a constant presence in Australia since TV began here in 1956.

I can fairly easily tell the difference between an Australian speaker as against a New Zealand speaker, but I struggle to tell the difference between an 'average accented' American speaker as against a Canadian speaker. And vice-versa no doubt.

And then Switzerland has four distinct languages: Swiss German (the dominant language), Swiss French, Swiss Italian and Romansch.

Interesting - I thought French speakers in Belgium may have been a lower % - good to know. BTW, I went to Bruges in July this year - and thoroughly enjoyed the city.

But you raise a really good point about why a readily available dialect available from the Vegas Pro's Text to Speech content provider is not available in Vegas Pro - and there may be other common dialects not available as well.

@Dexcon We do not need subtitles in Belgium for Dutch from the Netherlands, however Flemish Belgians would like to hear a Flemish voice in their own videos. It is not just some dialect which is missing in Vegas, it is a whole country. It should not be hard to add it: Microsoft owns Clipchamp now, it is free and is part of windows 11, and has text to speech, and behold, it has Dutch (Belgium)!

I chuckle when I get the impression it is taken that folk from England speak English the same. Truth is the variation is great. Geordie accents are usually unintelligible to folk from the South. As are some Scottish accents, but not all. As a Londoner I also have difficulty with some Asian, Indian and US accents, especially the Southern drawl. For many years now I've lived across the ditch from Dexcon and can nowadays pick an Australian accent easily from a NZ one.
