No it didn't, but it does usually it with DVD.

It sounds like it might be normal for paus and you have to hit continue. Did you see any option of this type? I have not done a dual layer Bluray so I am just guessing here.

I didn't get this dialog box. It failed just before, I suppose.

I'm rebuilding the ISO completely, and make a firmware update for my burner. Then, i'll make another try.

Layer breaks can only be properly managed in very few software packages. VegasPro and DVDArchitect can NOT manage layer breaks properly. As for Blu-ray discs, it may be possible the DOStudio product that was once owned by SCS could do it, but I am not certain of that.

Forget dual-layer disc burns.

It has worked now ! I don't know why it failed before (firmware? ISO damaged?). However, i got no po-up about layer break when burning.

My guess would be firmware.

Interesting comment that "DVDArchitect can NOT manage layer breaks properly". I confess I don't know anything about layer breaks, other than they need to be in the right place. DVDA does this perfectly (on DVDs anyway - never burnt a DL-BD). What else is there to manage? Just curious.
I've been burning DL-DVD now for a number of years - my weddings are almost exclusively on DL-DVD - without problems. I found very early on, that top quality discs were THE most important thing. Technology for both burners and DL discs has moved on too. For me, producing '2 disc sets' is something from the last century.

I have burnt quite a few DL DVDs for my own use, and have never had any problems. Some say that writable DL DVDs can be problematic on some players, so whether that is the fault of DVD Arch, the player or the disc brand, I know not.
