It worked fine a couple of week ago!
I can "pre-render selected video" from my timeline to any format I choose...in this case Cineform 1080p 29.97 files, but if I try to "Render as", the render window flashes open, then closes in an instant. The program doesn't crash and I can continue editing. Vegas 13 works as expected with the same files on it's timeline.
What I have tried as per other threads on the forum:
- Disable GPU assist in prefs
- Set ram preview to 0
- Disable so4compoundplug in the Internal tab
- Uninstall and re-install the program
- Restore system from a restore point where everything was working, and then re-install V16.
- Start Vegas with default settings
I haven't installed any new software or hardware. My system is Windows 7 Pro, i7 6700k, 16GB Ram, Radeon 460 GPU, 1tb system disc and 1tb Video disk.
The one time it popped up a message, the fault module was linked to KERNEL32.dll. I ran Memtest86, after a 3 hour test, it came up clean and all other programs that rely on that .dll work fine..
Pre-rendering and importing those files into V13 is a PITA, particularly as I have to open the audio files in my audio program, save those and re-sync in 13.
Any help or suggestions greatly appreciated.
