Vegas 21, timecode isn't working

Version 21 doesn't appear to be reading the timecodes. I have attached two images, the video file is the same, you can see that VP 20 reads the timecode fine, but VP 21 isn't reading it. This completely breaks my workflow, so any help with this would be appreciated.

I have already tried to get assistance through the Vegas Pro 21 Thread (https://www.vegascreativesoftware.info/us/forum/vegas-pro-21-build-108-general-discussion--142065/?page=4#ca888956), I also sent an email to support....where I got a response saying to click on "Yes" or "No" to confirm whether I needed further assistance....there was no link, no button. The support process here is frustrating to say the least.

Thank you....that resolved it. "Enable legacy HEVC decoding" was ticked in v.21. Disabling that resolved it.

Unfortunately with the new update, timecodes aren't working properly again. And the option for "Enable legacy HEVC decoding" has changed to "Enable experimental HEVC decoding". I tried enabling and disabling this option, didn't make a difference.

You don't want a variable bitrate...

Convert these to a constant bitrate and I'm sure they'll play fine.

See if you can change the camera to record at a constant bitrate.

I am not having an issue with playback, or even editing. The issue is that the timecode is not being read correctly.

The non-legacy decoder you were using was so4compound but you're saying as of build 300 it no longer reads timecode?

Until that is fixed I'd prep the timeline with 20 and then open the file in VP 21 to finish it (or just stay in 20, or go back to 21.208).

I saw a developer reply to you about this before so hopefully the issue is in the system.

Unfortunately this is still an issue. Is there any update here? I have tried changing many settings within VP but nothing works. There must be others with the same issue? The whole point of working with timecode is to optimise the editing flow, especially when using multiple cameras, and multiple audio sources.
