why is the installer so slow. like on 90's internet slow

The installer is taking longer than the time it says for support to get back to me 2-4 days. ridiculous. the download manager kept freezing, so i had to use the direct links. still slow as monkey tits. (no it isn't my internet i have the best internet you can get in my country.) they should really put a (you wont get to use this until the next solar eclipse warning when you buy the program for $400. i may aswell apply for a passport and then use that to fly to their HQ and download it directly from their servers onto a USB then fly back and still not have this 600mb install completed. ass.

I bought Edit today and have also had massive issues with the download. In addition to being very slow, the client randomly stops downloading on its own and I have to click the continue button.

I changed tactics, went to this post https://www.vegascreativesoftware.info/us/forum/faq-where-can-i-download-vegas-pro-and-other-vegas-software--104782/ and used the direct links to download. But those downloads are also very slow and the download is constantly stopping/failing so I keep having to manually restart. I also noticed random massive spikes in download speed (ex. sometimes it will rise as high as a whole 3.5 MB/sec for a few moments, then drop back to a more typical 16-20 KB/sec).

There are similar complaints on the Magix Community forum so presumably there is a problem with the Magix server(s). Being Sunday morning in Europe it's unlikely to get fixed before Monday.

I’m wondering if they fixed something, because I downloaded the entire VEGAS Post 20 suite via the MAGIX download manager and they all downloaded pretty quickly. Almost 4.3GB in ~10 minutes give or take a few.

Yes, there were some problems with the download on that weekend which were fixed on Monday after.
