Any details about Experimental HEVC decoder?
I started quite a big project: dropped footage on timeline (Panasonic X1500 + GoPro + Pixel) & saved. Did not do anything else. And then I faced "Out of Memory" issue when re-opening the project. Memory consumption goes up to max available and

VP Various Recent Builds & NVIDIA RTX 3050 Ti Cards
Is anyone have success editing 10-bit HEVC with NVIDIA notebook cards? The last couple builds/versions of Vegas have just been terrible for me. Things have progressed from manageable-but-frequent app crashes to total OS crashes that require a hard

RE: Saving a sub-clip as a separate file.
@James-Snead Yeah, sorry I can't really give a decent reply, nesting used to crash VP for me but with recent versions. Vp21/22.. It seems to have been stable, my media is prob smaller, UHD MP4 HEVC max 30mins-ish, It might depend on what you call

RE: RX 9070 Crashes whilst rendering in Vegas Pro 22 (build 250)
@Reyfox - I can see from my comment on 25/06 I had a crash at about 16:25. I see that I have a rendered video made at 17:21 the same day, so I assume that was the same project, but rendered successfully that time. So, I have uploaded the .veg

RE: VP Various Recent Builds & NVIDIA RTX 3050 Ti Cards
@ALO I too also use GoPro's. I have a 5 Black, 6 Black, 7 Black (2 actually), 9 Black, 10 Black, 11 Black, 12 Black, and 13 Black. Now, I don't shoot small length clips, as I use these for my daily walks of around 3.1 Miles/80-90 minutes, and I use

RE: Are you EU people shooting in 30P if it's a purely youtube project?
@3POINT ... Optical flow rendering in Vegas is a pita, takes ages...try (and compare) optical flow in DR. Totally agreed that rendering in DR with Optical Flow is so much faster than in VP - and DR has bulk rendering which is really great. When

RE: RX 9070 Crashes whilst rendering in Vegas Pro 22 (build 250)
I tried to find the best VP settings for my hardware (Ryzen 7 9700X, RX 6600 8 GB) & my footage (see below) & my editings in Full HD (1080-60p) and I ended up with:1. Video tab: Using RX6600, Dynamic RAM Preview 5% (default) 2. File I/O tab:

[Solved] Can't playback or render canon r3 4k files Vegas 21 pro suite
Hello, I have searched the forum and haven't been able to find anything that has solved my problems. I have been using vegas since version 9, so I am not a beginner to this, but am clueless with technical issues. After I import 4k files from my

RE: RX 9070 Crashes whilst rendering in Vegas Pro 22 (build 250)
@Solmea - I normally render to HEVC, but can use AVC instead. I tried the option, with and without enabled. For a 24min timeline of GoPro HEVC 4K media: MAGIX AVC (AMD VCE) - Legacy AVC decoding = Disable = Render time = 5min 35s & 4.72Gb MAGIX

V22 - Build 250 - Laggy and Slow playback/editing
Hi,Would someone be able to suggest a way of reducing the lag when editing? Admittedly I’m using a lot of 4K footage ( MXF. GoPro 11 and DJI Mavic 3 Pro), although I've converted all the video files to proxies in Vegas. Even so, it’s still very,

File I/O -> Experimental HEVC decoding: Has severe problem with a clip
I have been using the option in preferences: File I/O ->Enable experimental HEVC decoding. I noticed recently whilst rendering a series of clips (11 clips = 8min 26sec) that at about 46% into the render it slowed down substantially. Using a

RE: No hotkey for "Selectively Paste Event Attributes"?!
@RedRob-CandlelightProdctns for what purpose do you copy/paste event attributes? Isn't it easier to use track fx or an adjustment track/event to apply certain events with the same attributes. @3POINT Since you asked --- (it's not tooooo long an
