  RE: Cannot vertically resize A/V master automation buses on timeline.
  @rraud use the "resize" icon at the top of the bus track and move it "Up". That moves the entire track up. Now use the "resize" icon at the BOTTOM of the bus track and that will make it larger/taller.

    You were right; it looks like there were Track Motion keyframes after all. What puzzles me is how they got there, as I never used that feature. While checking Track Motion, I dragged the slider along the motion path, but the main video didn’t move

  I suspect that you mean that you have two audio tracks, one derived from the video source and the other being the music track. You haven't identified your Vegas Pro version, but if you have Vegas Pro 22, try using the 'Auto Ducking Controls'

  Changing Preferences for Track Composite level auto fade in and out
  When I do the track composite level it automatically inserts a fade at the beginning and end. I want to change the preference so that it is a cut and not a fade. Where can I do that?
